Soraya Till presenting Masako

On Saturday we had an amazing guest artist Exhibit Party. The real life art of Masako was presented to us by SL's curator Soraya Till. Soraya is the exclusive curator for Japanese-American artist Masako (she prefers not to use her last name) was born in Japan. She began her career in Europe.
Later, in Asia, she studied under Japanese and Chinese teachers. She developed an artistic style that combines traditional Asian themes and techniques with Western influences. Her art work will be displayed in my Gallery until the 28th of September, when we get a new guest artist, Layla Smith.
The music for the party was provided by Lonestar55 Genesis. He sang a wonderful set for us of music ranging from country, ballads, to rock.
We had a crowd of 37 total people for the party. Not all at the same time. Many came, looked at the art and left. Some listened to the music and danced. Some came after the music was done and looked. I thank everyone who took the time to enjoy this beautiful colorful Asian American art. I hope that you continue enjoying the art shown at my Gallery and others.
